This site has been a real labor of love for me. I initially started it because of my wonderful partner and the fact that he is from Guadalajara. A true Tapatio thru and thru! I wanted to learn more about the city he grew up in and was so fascinated and immediately fell in love with it on my very first trip and continue to do so all over again with every visit.
I have to admit that I was a bit unprepared a few times ... even after reading tons of travel books. We all learn through experience and it is my hope that I pass my experiences and adventures in Guadalajara along to you.
