If you’re tired of cold weather (and Jack Frost nipping who knows where!) then it’s time!

When you think of visiting the Pacific coast of Mexico.. (and many people do because of the weather and warm sandy beaches)..

You may automatically think of just heading to one of the beaches like Puerto Vallarta or Acapulco and spending all your time there exclusively.

I did at first as well… however.. one of the best benefits of visiting a place like Guadalajara is that the city is only about 3-4 hours by car to Puerto Vallarta or vice versa!

When you visit either place…you get the best of both worlds…

If you don’t fancy driving in Mexico.. then you can always take a first class bus trip to the beach!

(You’ll be really pleased to know that the buses in Mexico are very different from the ordinary Greyhound buses that you see in the U.S.) More on this later….

Bear in mind that if you do decide to take the bus, your trip will be longer.. since there are more stops in little villages along the way.

I’m convinced the trip would be cut in half if those darn mountains weren’t in the way too… nevertheless, the drive to and from the beach is oh soo breathtaking, and really worth the extra time it takes.

From budget hotels… bungalows.. up to five star all inclusive, luxury resorts and villas….. you’ll find something to suit your budget.

You just need to shop around for a bargain, but believe me they’re out there!
