Here's a great "best Guadalajara hotels review" submitted by Kathleen. She was kind enough to let me reprint her email.

Her recommendation begins below....

We loved this hotel, it's across from a cathedral, park and tons of taxis across the street; has a restaurant on the first floor which was very good!

It was mostly nationals that stayed there. We loved Guadalajara and the surrounding small towns!

Thanks for the tip Kathleen!

She also said that there was a great restaurant near this hotel that boasted that they had some of the best Chile Rellenos in the city... and Kathleen confirmed that they were superb....I'll have to look out for it on my next trip over.

Another great tip is the Moon Handbooks "Guadalajara" which is a superb reference of the whole city of Guadalajara.

If you're visiting this is definitely something you should pick up!
