El Parque Colomos
Parque Colomos (Colomos Park) If you love the outdoors, walking, running or would like to see some spectacular gardens then you'll enjoy this large park.

El Pantéon de Belén

Panteon de Belen(Belen Cemetery)
Take a tour of this
old cemetery that dates back to 1786. It has since been converted into a museum and is full of folklore and possibly a few spirits!
There are also some really interesting
haunted cemetery legends that you should read up on before heading out!

nighttime tour if you dare.. Here you will find some more great
cemetery pictures of El Panteon de Belen.
This is definitely one of the best attractions in Guadalajara and a great place for gorgeous pictures.
Catedral de Guadalajara

The Cathedral in Guadalajara is such a beautiful and magnificent symbol of the city. Read all about its history and construction.

El Instituto Cultural Cabañas

(Cabañas Cultural Institute)
Don't let this plain exterior fool you.
This building is home to some of
the most beautiful murals in Mexico.
They were painted by
famous muralist Jose Clemente Orozco to adorn this once bustling orphanage and house for the homeless and poor.

El Palacio de Gobierno
(Government Palace)
The Government Palace of Guadalajara (Palacio de Gobierno) is where the governor and politicians gather to do their business and hopefully make the city a more beautiful place for all to enjoy.
You'll want to take a look inside because there are
more murals by Jose Clemente Orozco that are quite powerful.

Calandria
(Horse and Carriage)
There is nothing like riding around downtown in a
horse drawn carriage. Slow down and enjoy Guadalajara the old fashioned way.
Sports in Guadalajara-Soccer Games
For the
sports lover in you there is one of Mexico's favorite sports (Gdl too)--
Guadalajara Soccer or as they say it in Spanish,

Parque Mirador

Another Guadalajara attraction is the beautiful
Parque Mirador (Sierra Madre) with absolutely
amazing views of the Sierra Madre Occidental, known locally as
La Barranca.
